Cornish Maine Boudoir Photographer // You Will Sweat. You Will Get Wedgies. And You’ll Still Look Like a Damn Goddess.
Let’s get one thing out of the way: boudoir sessions are not the sexy, slow-motion Victoria’s Secret runway moment you see on Instagram. I mean… you’ll look like that in your photos. But behind the scenes? It’s a beautiful, slightly sweaty, wedgie-filled mess. And I’m here for it.
Seriously. You will sweat. I will fix your lingerie a thousand times. We will both question gravity and the human spine during some of the poses. And that awkward laugh you’re worried about? Yeah, we’re gonna use that. Because it’s cute. Because it’s you. And because this experience is about embracing every bit of that chaos and realizing that you don’t need to be perfect to look powerful.
What Actually Happens at a Boudoir Shoot (Spoiler: It’s Not Glam 24/7)
You’ll probably show up nervous. I mean, who doesn’t? But that nervous energy turns into laughs real fast. Usually around the time I dramatically drop to the floor in jeans and a camera holster to demonstrate a pose that should be illegal for people with bad knees.
There will be wedgies. Let’s just normalize this now. Lingerie + posing = adjustments on repeat. I will fix it. I will adjust straps. I will make sure everything is where it’s supposed to be. We’re a team now.
The playlist will be 🔥. Whether you’re into punk, metal, or need a little Megan Thee Stallion to get in the mood—we’re gonna blast music and vibe.
You’ll probably sweat. Not like gross gym sweat—but “I’m holding this arched back pose for 15 seconds and why am I trembling” kind of sweat. It’s worth it. I gotchu with the ac.
You will laugh. A lot. Because I’m awkward. You’re probably awkward. And watching me roll around the floor trying to look sexy in a t-shirt and jeans to show you poses is objectively hilarious.
So why am I telling you this?
Because I want you to know that boudoir isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, embracing the mess, and realizing that the photos we create together will be badass even if your thong had a mind of its own that day.
Real women. Real bodies. Real moments. That’s what I shoot. That’s what I love. And that’s what makes your photos feel like you—not some over-filtered version of you.
So if you’re worried you’ll be awkward or sweaty or feel weird in front of the camera, GOOD. That just means you’re human. And honestly? Those are my favorite kind of sessions.
Want in? Hit me up. I’ll bring the music and the wedgie-fixing skills—you just show up and trust the process.
