Cornish, Maine Boudoir Studio // Miss V’s Boudoir Session: Bridal, Bold, and Drop-Dead Gorgeous
With an elopement on the horizon and all the butterflies that come with it, Miss V wanted to give her soon-to-be husband a little something something he’d never forget. Spoiler alert: mission very much accomplished.
She rolled in and my hair and makeup artist graced her with full glam—hair on point, makeup flawless, that quiet confidence humming just beneath the surface. And let me tell you, the glam suited her. .
After a little hangout and outfit planning sesh, we kicked things off with some fine art black and white shots—clean, simple, classic. But don’t get too comfortable. We pivoted real quick to the fur rug setup in front of my dramatic black wall. She slipped into this killer green lingerie set that popped against the dark backdrop. Like… wow. If confidence had a color, it might just be that shade of green.
Next came a white lingerie set and a jean jacket, but not just any jacket—this one was repping her soon-to-be last name across the back. It was such a perfect personal touch and honestly, I love when brides bring those little wedding-day details into the studio. It gives the whole shoot that extra kick of sentimentality without losing the vibe.
Oh, and the white shoes that she brought with her? Iconic. They had asymmetric bows on them. Just the kind of artsy flair that I love. She hit the bed set with those on and gave me some of my favorite shots from the day. She laughed, she posed like an absolute queen, and you could tell she felt amazing. That kind of energy is contagious. When someone fully trusts me and lets themselves enjoy the experience? That’s where the real magic happens.
We hit the bath set next—which, by the way, is climbing the ranks of my favorite sets faster than a teen sneaking out of the house. The bubbles, the mood. And finally, we wrapped with the always iconic wet set. Glam meets grit. Bridal meets bold. It was the perfect finale.
Miss V brought it all—style, confidence, and a whole lot of heart. Her session was the kind of shoot that reminds me why I love what I do. Empowered women, embracing their beauty, showing up for themselves and their partners.
