Cornish Maine Boudoir Studio // The Boudoir Soundtrack: Because Confidence Has a Beat Drop
Okay, real talk—I usually forget to ask my clients what kind of music they want playing during their boudoir session. I get caught up in chatting, styling, lighting, and hyping them up like their personal photo wingwoman... and next thing you know, we’re mid-shoot and they’re grinding in lace to my usual playlist, which is typically just me vibing out to 90s punk or heavy metal.
Don’t get me wrong—it weirdly works more often than not. Apparently, there’s something empowering about channeling your inner goddess to the sounds of Rage Against the Machine or The Distillers. Punk rock thighs save lives, y’all.
BUT.
The times I have remembered to ask what kind of music a client wants? Total game changer. I’ve watched women absolutely bloom the moment their song comes on. I’ve seen shy body language melt into full-blown supermodel swagger with one beat drop. It’s like flipping a confidence switch.
Whether it's Beyoncé, Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion, Lana Del Rey, or Lizzo telling you you’re 100% that bitch—it hits different when it’s your vibe. Music lets you drop into the moment, forget the camera, and just feel yourself. And when you feel yourself, oh honey… the camera definitely feels it too.
So I’m making it official:
From now on, I’m offering a Boudoir Anthem Playlist experience.
You tell me your confidence soundtrack—what makes you feel hot, powerful, and untouchably badass—and I’ll make sure it’s blasting during your shoot.
And for those of you who don’t know what your “boudoir anthem” is yet? I gotchu. I’m working on a community playlist with tracks picked by my past badass clients. Think of it like a sonic sisterhood of women hyping each other up.
Stay tuned, babes. Your boudoir shoot is about to sound as good as it looks.
